Amazon’s creative and marketing department on-boarded us in 2024 for their new Prime Day social campaign.

We pitched and won creatively against two other UK production companies with a competitive budget that delivered value for the creative promised.

The brief required sunshine plus diverse ‘anywhere in Europe’ cast and locations.. Not the easiest of briefs as we also needed a cost centre that could deliver on a tight budget. We attained competitive bids to shoot in Palma and Lisbon – with the latter winning as a more cost effective centre with more variety in cast and locations and most hours of sun. The success of this decision was born out in the films themselves and a happy client team.

We filmed for 2 days at multiple locations in Lisbon, delivering 12 films including 30 deliverables covering 16:9, 9:16 & 1:1 formats.

Whilst other prod. co’s quoted 3-4 days filming, by coming up with a technical solution to allow for the 16:9 and 9:16 framing, we were able to shoot everything over 2 days. This saved Amazon a huge amount of time and money and are the types of decisions that we pride ourselves on getting right for our clients.

In addition, we collaborated closely the Amazon team on a uniquely challenging wardrobe and art department requirement due to very specific legal restrictions placed on Amazon when they advertise.. We were able to deliver copyright free props and wardrobe. In the edit and post production, director Stephen Pipe worked closely with the creatives on referencing/design to create a truly social looking set of films. .

We really enjoyed working with a super creative team at Amazon to deliver as promised a set of social films that felt authentic and customer orientated.
