Paul & Ludwig Shammasian combine beautiful imagery with atmospheric storytelling and a meticulous approach to sound design. Their first commercial for Bang & Olufsen won them the coveted CFP-E Young Director Award at Cannes. Their stunning short film “Akhtamar” for Pernod Riccard’s ArArAt Brandy took them back to their motherland Armenia where, incredibly, this branded short was viewed by nearly half a million people leading to a 30% increase in sales. The branded short has also won a number of awards.
A more recent short film project, Romans 12:20, has also won many awards particularly in the US which has now led to it’s development as a full length feature.
Their latest advertising is a series of idents for McDonald’s with Agency Leo Burnett. The 4 idents highlight McDonalds FA Community Shield and will be aired in 57 countries during the 2012 UEFA European Championships. They feature real kids from a local footballing club and were shot on location at Wembley Stadium in London. We can’t wait to get these guys another great script – call us now!
